Fuel Cell Recruitment is working with an European manufacturer of green energy catalysts for the renewable energy sector - we are seeking an experienced researcher to work on applications development and characterisation. The role will be based in Italy.
The main focus of the role is to develop new applications for the existing catalysts, develop working prototypes and test beds for assessing new catalysts for new applications, and to provide a timely response to specific customer technical enquiries.
The role would suit a well qualified engineer, preferably with experience in designing electrochemical cells, characterising performance of the catalysts in real applications (batteries, fuel cells, electrolysers, industrial electrochemical processes, and chemical reformers), and developing prototypes of new applications. The ideal candidate would be a chemical engineer with a wide range of practical, preferably industrial, experience.
The successful candidate will be practical and innovative, comfortable working as part of a diverse team and managing the work of others, often to tight timescales, and has a demonstrated track records of success.
